廣州市斐特思學校|當教學沒有黑板 “替代”了課堂板書
當人們在談不用黑板教學,實質在談論什么?是讓學生拿著 Ipad 上課與做作業?還是在談論未來教學?《中國未來學校2.0:概念框架》在描繪未來學校時表示,“真正成為一所未來學校,要改變教育模式,首先要改變的就是教學空間。”廣州市斐特思學校的校園建筑已實現這點。
How do teachers teach without a blackboard? Teach with tablets? Teach with technology? "China's Future School 2.0: A Conceptual Framework" states: "To truly become a school of the future, schools must change their education model; and the first thing to change is the teaching space." At FCG this has been achieved.

全球背景下的社區設計
Community Design in A Global Context社區設計是MYP八年級的一項非常重要的核心課程。學子需要綜合運用MYP8大學科的知識,5大學習技能,在6 大全球背景下展開探究。學子們走出教室,甚至延展到校外,通過調研、制定計劃、具體實施與反思等過程,為身處的社區提供服務與支持。如:Community Design is one of the core courses in MYP Grade 8, requiring students to integrate their knowledge of MYP8 disciplines and 5 learning skills to explore the functions of community in complex global contexts. Students engage with the local community, providing service and support through projects such as:
1、樹洞空間-學子們通過利用校園環境,設計和改造空間,為同學們營造一個可放松休息的空間。
Tree Reflection Areas--Students make the most of the available space on campus to create a comfortable area to relax.
2、致敬環境美容師-學子通過實地走訪與觀察的形式,了解環衛工人和學校保潔人員的工作狀況,向師生們宣傳愛護環境清潔從自身做起的必要性。Respect for campus environment – Students visit our campus maintenance teams to learn about their working conditions and call on teachers and students to protect the environment – understanding that even small changes make a difference.
我們鼓勵學子的學習范圍不僅只限于書本,還要學會走出教室,運用跨學科思維認真探究、用心體會,學以致用。從影響一個社區到影響世界。We encourage students to learn beyond books and out of the classroom, to explore with interdisciplinary thinking, to experience with open mind, and to apply what they have learned in changing community and outside world.

體育節是FCG 一年一度的體育盛事,學子們在體育競技中互助互勉和頑強拼搏,充分發揚奧林匹克精神。我們倡導全人教育,鼓勵學子在學習與運動中取得平衡,培養熱愛運動、積極向上的生活態度。為此,學校配備一應俱全且專業的體育設施,如國際足聯認證(FIFA)的足球場、國際籃聯認證(FIBA)的籃球場、標準恒溫游泳池、排球場、壁球館、攀巖墻、室內高爾夫館、健身室等,以學子們在戶外運動中身心都能得到極大地發展。The FCG Festival of Sport is an annual event where students work together and support each other as teammates. of FCG. In line with our commitment to holistic education we encourage students to strike a balance between academic learning and sports. Through developing a passion for sport they will maintain a positive attitude towards life. The school is equipped with a full range of high-quality facilities, such as a FIFA football field, FIBA basketball stadium, heated swimming pool, volleyball and squash courts, climbing wall, indoor golf hall, and gym.
英語課程-校園探險之旅
English Course - A Campus Adventure
英語怎樣學才能既有趣又能嫻熟地被運用?小學部的 Owen 老師帶著他的學生探索了整個美麗的校園,教授他們如何用英語正確地描述從一個地方到另一個地方,和準確地運用介詞來表示位置和方向。學子們拿著地圖,在 200 畝的校園內里充分地運用英語聽、說、讀、寫的能力來完成探險任務,讓英語學習充滿樂趣和吸引力。除此之外,通過了解校園每座建筑的設計理念和文化底蘊,他們對 FCG 又有了深刻的認識。更重要的是,每位學子都樂在其中。How can English be fun to learn and skillfully used? Mr. Owen took his PS students on a tour of the beautiful campus, teaching them how to correctly describe the route in English, and how to accurately indicate location and direction with prepositions. With maps in hand, the students made full use of their language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing to complete the adventure on the 200-acre campus. In addition, they learnt about the design concept and cultural heritage of each building on campus. It was a great experience, enjoyed by all!
1+∞ 馬術拓展課
1+∞ Equestrian Enrichement
上周我們開展了專業的馬術拓展課。馬術源自英國,是一項優雅小眾的運動,它充滿樂趣與挑戰,騎行者需要具備勇氣、膽量和一定的身體素質。學子們在馴馬師的指導下學習了馬術知識、體驗了騎行的樂趣、參與了馬食的投喂,拓寬了認知邊界。Last week we had our first professional Equestrian Enrichment class. Originating from Britain horse riding is an elegant and niche sport full of fun and challenges, demanding courage and a strong body. Under the guidance of the trainers, students learnt about horsemanship, experienced the fun of riding and feeding horses, and broadened their minds.
與高爾夫一樣,馬術作為一項小眾的運動項目,除了自身的健身與觀賞價值之外,在一定程度上提高了學生在海外大學申請的競爭力。不少精英家庭從小培養孩子學習高爾夫或馬術,不少孩子憑借出色的體育專長獲得了世界前 100 大學拋來的橄欖枝。Another benefit of horse riding is that it may improve the competitive edge of students applying to first-rate universities overseas as children from elite families often learn golf or horsemanship from a young age, and have their sporting expertise valued by leading world universities.

Splash Day -Early Years Education(EY)
什么是水?水的狀態是怎樣?它有什么用途?如何讓孩子克服游泳的恐懼?如果用理論來傳授孩子這些知識會很枯燥,那么我們就用潑水玩樂的方式來開啟認知的大門。What is water? What is the state of the water? What is it used for? How do children overcome the fear of swimming? If it's too boring to teach a child this knowledge through books, then water splashing is a wonderful way to help children improve their general knowledge and understanding of water.
主題探究課-植樹節
Unit of Inquiry - Arbor Day
斐特思幼兒園擁有獨立的大型的游樂園、STEM 教室、木工房、劇院、圖書館、攀巖墻、大面積戶外活動區域和生態種植園。能滿足展形式多樣的主題探究課的需求。如IBPYP 主題探究之世界怎樣運作,我們以植樹節的形式帶著孩子在戶外學習根、莖、葉、花、果的知識;一起種植多肉植物;發揮創意,用蔬菜做拼貼畫;到生態種植園植樹,了解自然規律、四季變化,春耕秋收的知識。With a large amusement park, STEM classrooms, woodworking room, theatre, library, climbing wall, large outdoor activity area and eco-garden, FCG EY is well-equipped to carry out various types of thematic inquiry, for example, the IBPYP inquiry project, ‘How the world works’. With perfect timing for Arbor Day, we took children outdoors to observe roots, stems, leaves, flowers and fruits, planted succulents, made collages with vegetables, and planted trees – all helping the children understand the laws of nature, the changing seasons and an introduction to farming.

世界那么大,不如去看看。除了校內的戶外教學,我們將“教室”延展至校外,讓學子擁有廣闊的視野,寬廣的胸懷,堅毅的意志,獨立自信的品格。We live in a big world where there are so many places to see, people to meet, and experiences to be had. In addition to the outdoor teaching on campus, we extend the "classroom" outside the school, so our students develop great vision, broad minds, strong will, independence and confidence.
堅毅力項目-全校師生家長參與的戶外鍛煉。學子每年挑戰攀越一座高峰,無畏風雨,培養堅毅力。Perseverance Programme - outdoor events for teachers, students and parents. Developing a strong attitude towards wind and rain, our students challenge themselves to conquer a peak each year, learning perseverance and persistence along the way.
田野周-學生參與秋收勞作,認識食物的珍貴。Field Week - Students participate in our autumn harvest festival and learn to appreciate the value of food.
環保企業、博物館、動物園、海洋館、生態叢林......學習之旅-讓知識回歸真實世界,化為創新創造。Environmental awareness activities include trips to museums, zoos, aquariums and an ecological jungle. The learning journey for our students involves connecting theoretical knowledge with the real world, and inspiring innovation and creation.
