Springer老師本科畢業(yè)于澳大利亞莫納什大學(xué)(Monash University)應(yīng)用化學(xué)與物理專 業(yè)，后于學(xué)府墨爾本大學(xué)(University of Melbourne)取得了教師資格以及環(huán)境工程專 業(yè)的碩士學(xué)位，并開始教授化學(xué)與物理學(xué)科，在澳大利亞、馬來西亞以及中國(guó)擁有超過25年的一線科研及教學(xué)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)。曾任職于大型跨國(guó)企業(yè)，從事醫(yī)療及科學(xué)儀器相關(guān)工作，他擅長(zhǎng)將較真實(shí)的科學(xué)帶入課堂，分享并啟發(fā)學(xué)生們。目前他是蘇州外籍人員子女學(xué)校IB部高中化學(xué)及小學(xué)科學(xué)專任教師，擅長(zhǎng)IB及IGCSE科學(xué)及數(shù)學(xué)科目教學(xué)。 他善于通過解剖分析問題的相關(guān)性來引導(dǎo)并鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生學(xué)以致用，將所學(xué)的理科知識(shí)與技能應(yīng)用到實(shí)際問題解決中。作為中學(xué)部教學(xué)主任，他致力于進(jìn)一步推進(jìn)老師們對(duì)相應(yīng)學(xué)科的基礎(chǔ)概念及探究教學(xué)法的推廣。 Mr. Springer has more than 25 years of technical and scientific training and teaching experience in Australia, Malaysia and China. His educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with majors in Chemistry and Physics from Monash University in Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Education qualified to teach Chemistry and Physics, and a Master degree in Environmental Engineering – the latter two courses studied at the University of Melbourne, Australia. After working for pharmaceutical, medical and scientific instrumentation multinational corporations, he has brought real-world industrial experience to the classroom. He currently teaches DP Chemistry and MYP/IGCSE Science. Mr. Springer inspires students to learn and apply knowledge and analytical skills in science and mathematics classes by demonstrating the relevance of the problem that needs to be solved. In his role as Middle Years Programme Coordinator(MYPC) at EtonHouse International School Suzhou, his focus is to drive teachers to deliver concept and inquiry-based lessons.
